EDUCATION My research interests revolve around development of web-based software to support in-class team learning and competency-based assessment (the LUCID program), student-centered teaching methods and materials, teacher and teaching assistant development, and providing academic support to enable research faculty to teach effectively in large courses. I serve as co-PI of a major NSF-DUE grant related to development and
implementation of the LUCID program, and am on the Board of Directors
of the POGIL (Process-Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning) consortium.
