Meetings for Graduate Students - Chemistry, Stony Brook

In order to help clarify issues and answer questions that come up repeatedly, meetings for continuing chemistry Ph.D. students have been scheduled as follows:

Meeting of all students beginning their second year (entered Fall ’05) - Monday August 21, 4 PM, Room 412

This meeting will cover expectations and goals for the second year, first meetings, second meetings, organic cumulative exams, or spring bio seminar, etc.

Meeting of all students beginning their third year (entered Fall ’04) - Tuesday August 22, 4 PM, Room 412

This meeting will cover expectations and goals for the third year, AGS or bio seminar, not yet completed second meetings, etc.

Meeting of all students beginning their fourth year or beyond (entered Fall ’03 or earlier) - Wednesday August 23, 4 PM, Room 412

This meeting will cover not yet completed third meetings, requirements and procedures for defense scheduling, etc.

Please attend the appropriate meeting. They should only last about half an hour.
