Undergraduate Student Majoring in Economics Accepted at Yale University to Study PhD in Economics
April, 2007
Adam Osman will be studying his PhD in Economics at Yale starting in the Fall of 2007 with a full scholarship.
A member of Stony Brook's Honors College, he was also accepted by Stanford, UCLA, Virginia, and Maryland, but chose Yale because of their strong development and applied microeconomics curriculum. ``He is an oustanding young man, hard working, and very focused. His success proves that our students can get a great education that opens doors to successful careers in top research institutions,'' says his undergraduate research advisor, professor Benitez-Silva, a graduate from Yale himself.
