Syallabi: History of Human Rights Law and Women in Modern European History

Research Interests:

Research Interests: I am currently revising my doctoral thesis, which is a study of the meaning of socialism, anarchism, and feminism through the life a late Victorian/Edwardian Englishwoman. I am expanding that portion of the study that examines the development ofinternational legal regimes in the pre-war period, and particularly the contributions of the international women's movement in developing international human rights and labor regulations. I have a continuing interest in issues of pedagogy and public history, and hope to develop ongoing workshops for faculty and others interested in issues related to history education in the larger community.
