Special conference rates have been arranged at the elegant HILTON ROTTERDAM (within a short walk from the Central Train Station and easy access to public transportation (Tram 1 and 7) to the Erasmus University).Tram tickets for the week will be made available for those staying in town at the Hilton. The tram to the University takes about 15 minutes. Some van service will also be provided.

115 EURO [about US$100 ] per night for a Single or Double "Superior Room" (does not include breakfast, since continental breakfast is provided at the conference site).
165 EURO [about US$144 ] for a Single or Double "Executive Room" (includes complimentary breakfast, coffee/tea maker in room, and other advantages).
Unlike standard European practice, we have negotiated American-type payment arrangements whereby the cost per night (no tax added) is for one or two persons. This is not a per person rate.
However, YOU MUST MAKE RESERVATIONS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE -- IN ANY CASE NO LATER THAN MARCH 15 th , 2002. If you are planning to attend, make reservations now!

STUDENT HOUSING
Alternate low cost lodging is available on a "first come first served" basis at the ERASMUS INTERNATIONAL STUDENT HOUSE, which is located within easy walking distance from the university.
Student rooms (two separate single rooms with a shared bath and kitchen) are available at the total cost of 350 EURO [about US$305] per single room for the whole period of the conference — including several days before and/or after the conference.
[Note that a shared "Superior Room" at the Hilton is equivalent in cost to six days at the Student Housing facility.]
