3rd though 8th grade: Children's Choir/Dalcroze Program
The Children's Choir/Dalcroze Program is a performance and music theory program designed for elementary and middle school school children. The classes are sponsored by the Department of Music at the University of Stony Brook and are a part of the Pre-College Saturday morning program. The curriculum is based on a well-established musical pedagogy known as Dalcroze Eurhythmics.
SPACE STILL AVAILABLE!

8th though 12th grade: Pre-College Music Program
The Pre-College Music Program offers coaching and performance opportunities in chamber music and a rich curriculum that includes composition, music theory, and aural skills. Students enrolled in the program are already accomplished musicians in their schools who are looking for new, challenging and exciting experiences that are not offered anyplace else. The Pre-College Program runs during the academic year, from September to June. Classes are held on Saturdays, following the public school calendar. Students admitted into the program are expected to attend regularly.
Auditions for 2009-2010 will take place in May, 2009.

Adult Amateurs: Adult Chamber Music Program
Participants enjoy weekly coaching workshops and chamber performance opportunities. The workshops are eight weeks in length and include at least six coaching sessions, culminating in a recital in the Staller Center Recital Hall. Each group works intensively with an experienced chamber music coach. Groups for strings, woodwinds, brass, piano, and voice will be formed based on ability and repertoire. Pre-existing groups are also welcome. Two sessions will be held during the year with performances at the Staller Center in December and May. Previous musical experience required, but professionals, amateurs and enthusiasts are all welcome.
Registration for the Spring Semester is now open.
