Parking Garages
The University has three multi-tiered
parking garages on campus to serve faculty, staff, students and visitors.
Two of these garages, the Hospital Garage and the Health Sciences Center Garage, are located on East Campus. The third one, the Administration Garage, is located on West Campus.

Garage Rates
Rates are the same for all garages. Parking is available on a daily or monthly basis.
Daily parking is $1.50 per hour to a $7.50 maximum per 24 hours.
Monthly parking is available to eligible employees, students, visitors and vendors at the following rates:

*Valid for the length of the patient's stay to a maximum of 30 consecutive days.
**The evening parking card has access to the Administration and Health Sciences Garages between 03:00PM and 11:00PM Monday through Friday, and 24 hours on Saturdays and Sundays.
Stony Brook University Department validation stickers are $3.50 each.
There is an "Evening Special" available in the Administration Parking Garage, which allows for parking in that Garage from 3:00pm to 11:00PM for $3.00.
Please Note
- Payment for your monthly parking garage card is due on the first of the month. To avoid being locked out, please ensure we receive your payment within the first three business days of the month. Sign-up today for the payroll parking deduction program and avoid the rush to pay.
- Students, employees and vendors pay for parking on a full monthly basis even if less than one month of service is used.
- Everyone is required to pay a $10 refundable deposit for garage cards obtained at all garage locations.

For State and Research Foundation employees, you can download the Payroll Parking Deduction Authorization forms to deduct the cost of parking from your paycheck.
