Donate Food for the Needy, Participate in the Food Drive!

The Bookstore will be sponsoring a Food Drive starting November 1 through December 15, just in time
for the holidays. They will accept canned goods and non-perishable items to be donated to the Port
Jefferson Ecumenical Food Pantry and Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen in Setauket. For each donation,
you will receive a 10% discount on one item, excluding textbooks and computer software.

Faculty Author Fred Gardaphe to Read New Book on December 7th

On Thursday December 7th, Fred Gardaphe*, Prof. of Italian American Studies, will have a book
reading at the University Bookstore. He will be reading from his book, "Moustache Pete is Dead:
Italian American Oral-Tradition Preserved in Print." The reading begins at 12:30 pm!
