Brook STEP philosophy engenders campus-based
activities, which range from summer residential programs
to year-round experiences with a strong focus on research-based
and college credit courses.
In a setting that serves secondary school students through campus-based
and community- supported modes, STEP has been since its beginning the
lynchpin for a multitude of funded programs whose goals are to bring more
underrepresented students into the science, mathematics, engineering and
technology fields -goals similar to STEP. This has created a continuum
for students from our partner school districts to experience
opportunities from middle school through high school graduation.
