International Academic Programs

An international academic experience is now a prerequisite for students who wish to remain competitive for employment or professional school. The office of International Academic Programs offers undergraduates the opportunity to study overseas while earning credits toward their degree. Students can take advantage of this opportunity as individual participants in international exchanges at an overseas university, or as a member of a Study Abroad program under the supervision of a Stony Brook faculty member. Exchanges involve a variety of languages, including English, while Study Abroad programs are conducted in English. Programs are offered over the academic year, semester, or summer and winter intersessions.
