Exchange Programs
Exchange programs allow students to register for classes at overseas universities. All classes taken in exchange programs count towards SBU residency requirements. Course work may also be evaluated for D.E.C., Major, Minor, or Upper Division Credit. Grades received will not factor into an SBU GPA. However, the host university will provide grades and a performance evaluation to supplement a Stony Brook University transcript. The best source of information on any Exchange Program is the website of the university that you would like to attend on exchange.
