Study Abroad
Study abroad students experience higher education on an international stage and actively learn about other cultures. Why spend the summer or winter intersession at Stony Brook when you can study abroad for the same amount of time and money? Students often complete 12-15 credits with financial aid providing them the opportunity to graduate a semester early.
Study Abroad programs are led by Stony Brook faculty. While abroad, participants are registered Stony Brook students, and upon return, grades count toward their GPA. Study Abroad programs do not require foreign language proficiency.
