Kathleen Flynn-Bisson

Kathleen Flynn-Bisson, MA, CHES, Health Educator, has a Masters in Community Health education from Adelphi University and an Alcoholism Counselor Certificate from Molloy College. She has been a Health Educator at the Stony Brook University Student Health Service CHOICE Center since 1995; her responsibilities include: Health Counseling, Development and Implementation of the Prevention Through the Arts Program, and co-coordinator of numerous prevention efforts including the Peer Health Educator Course, The Health and Wellness Resource Room and Campus Wide Health Information Racks. She recently celebrated a decade of success of the Prevention Through the Arts program and received the Annual Student Health Service Certificate of Appreciation-Star Fish Flinger Award. This award will be presented each year in her honor to a student and/or staff for outstanding Health Education efforts.
