College of Business Undergraduate Student Advisory Board

The Dean's College of Business Undergraduate Student Advisory Board provides a forum for undergraduate students in the College of Business to provide feedback to the Dean and other administrators in the College of Business.  This is accomplished through ongoing meetings and open dialogue.  The information provided by these students assists in driving change and they act as a sounding board for new initiatives.


Anthony Badagliacca

anthony badagliacca dean's advisory boardAnthony Badagliacca is an energetic and driven senior, majoring in Business Management and minoring in Accounting. Pursuing a MBA in accounting, he is dedicated to the field and hopes to leverage his academic and professional experience to earn his Certified Public Accountant license within the next few years. With a keen eye for business opportunities, a desire to create, and an ability to lead, Anthony has his eyes set on building a career in entrepreneurship. With a genuine desire to make a positive impact, he hopes to help inspire all College of Business students to achieve success. 
 

 

Li Yuan Cao

li yuan cao undergad advisory boardLi Yuan Cao is a sophomore majoring in Business Management, specializing in Finance and Accounting, with a minor in Applied Math and Statistics. His journey in the world of business and finance has been marked by a relentless pursuit of knowledge and a strong commitment to personal and professional growth. Li is an active member of the Finance Society and the Investment Club. Aside from his academic pursuits, he is currently a commercial real estate intern at Project Destined, conducting market research, property analysis, and enhancing financial modeling skills. Over the summer, he interned at Gotham Organization as an asset management intern where he had the opportunity to work closely with industry professionals, gaining insights into financial analysis and property management. This experience not only deepened his understanding of finance but also ignited his passion for the field. Li's long-term goal is to leverage his finance expertise to excel in the world of banking and asset management.


Matthew Jacob

matthew jacobMatthew Jacob is a junior at Stony Brook University's Honors College and a member of the College of Business Honors Program. He is double majoring in Business Management and Economics with minors in Globalization Studies and International Relations, Political Science and Sustainability Studies. He is currently the Business Manager at SB Statesman and a Big Sibling with the Honors College. Matthew is pre-law and is planning to pursue a law degree following his graduation in May 2025.


 

Emma Leiman

emma leimanEmma Leiman is a senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a specialization in Finance. She has a strong interest in finance, which is only being strengthened by her coursework and extracurriculars. Along with being on the Dean’s Advisory Board, she is actively involved in various clubs and committees on campus, including her positions as President of the Finance Society at SBU, Vice President of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Director of Campus Relations and Communications for Beta Alpha Psi, Event Coordinator of the Golf Club, and Members of the Women in Business Club/Investment Club/Sigma Beta Honors Society/Beta Gamma Sigma/Institute of Managerial Accountants/CoB DEI Committee/Mission States Reaffirmation Committee. Emma is currently a Wealth Management Intern at Morgan Stanley, where she is learning more about the intricacies of the day to day operations at a finance firm. After graduation, she is planning on attending graduate school for a masters in finance to expand her knowledge base and further advance her career.


Francisca "Love" Morales Saldias

love moralesFrancisca "Love" Morales Saldias is a junior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Management with a specialization in Marketing and minors in accounting and theater. Originally from Chile, she brings an international perspective to her studies. Within the university community, she is actively involved in various roles, including her position as Vice President and Co-Founder of the Portuguese Language Club, a member of the American Marketing Association, and her responsibilities as a Resident Assistant. Additionally, she works as an Undergraduate Event Coordinator for Student Engagement and Activities. Love’s career focus aligns with her passion for the entertainment industry, marketing, and event production.


 

Seth Rosenthal

seth rosenthalSeth Rosenthal is a senior majoring in Business Management, specializing in Finance and is in the Business Honors Program. Seth is originally from Lynbrook, NY, and chose to transfer to Stony Brook University from Nassau Community College where he was Valedictorian, for its quantitative finance programs. Along with being on the Dean's Advisory Board, Seth is involved with various clubs and organizations, including the Block Chain Business Lab and the Investment Club. Additionally, he conducts research with Professor Aaron Kim and Professor Danling Jiang on blockchain, cryptocurrency, and grey swan market events. Outside of school, Seth publishes on Substack through his company Market Math LLC about quantitative finance, mathematical modeling, and stock trading. His interests include fashion, working out, five card texas hold'em, and K-9 training and handling. After graduation, Seth aspires to launch a hedge fund.


 

Dimitrios Santiago

dimitrios santiagoDimitrios Santiago is a senior majoring in Business Management, specializing in Marketing. He is a member of the University Scholars Honors Program and Business Honors Program. On campus, he is President of Stony Brook's Club Baseball team and a business advisor to the Tech Businesses in Development VIP teams. This past summer, Dimitrios interned at Google in New York City, working in client management for Google Ads. He plans to return to Google full-time after graduation.


 

Asude Tastan

asude tastan undergraduate advisory boardAsude Tastan is a sophomore Business Management major, specializing in Operations Management. In addition she holds a board position as Secretary for Women In Business and also Recruitment Chair for Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity.
